Our system keeps each group updated according to the parameters set by your compliance or management team; this regulates what, when and how the information is sent and crucially, it tracks and reports who has actually opened which item.

The Offshore Announcements system enables your compliance department or management team to select which announcements are sent to whom, and it reports if that item has been accessed; if someone hasn’t opened the announcement they can be notified and reminded. Should you read an article or web page which is of particular relevance to another member of staff or department, you can simply recommend it to their group, with the entire track and trace functionality of automatically generated articles.

At any time the compliance department or management team can produce a report which shows which items were sent, who they went to and if they were opened. That report will prove that your organisation is keeping up to date and can be presented to regulatory bodies, or used to monitor company performance and compliance with industry standards.

Each registered user is allocated a personal reference and pin code, which remains their property and allows them to document their commitment to keeping their knowledge totally up to date. Offshore Announcements was developed by NW Consulting to enable offshore finance professionals to stay up to date with regulatory developments and news from across the globe related to the services they provide.

Based in Jersey, NW Consulting is an IT consultancy with over 20 years experience installing and managing IT and communication systems for the offshore financial services sector, e-commerce / Internet and the commercial marketplace. Offshore Announcements was initially launched in Jersey in 2009 and is expanding throughout the world.

The business was established by Nathan Wright, founder of one of the Channel Islands’ first and most successful Internet service provider, LocalDial. Nathan, along with the rest of the team has also worked extensively with software suppliers, trust companies and financial institutions.

Creative problem solving is an important element of the ethos at NW Consulting, which is why a lot of our advisors have experience running their own businesses.
