Offshore Announcements is a service provided by NW Consulting. We are a Jersey (British Channel Islands) based IT consultancy with over 20 years experience installing and managing IT and communication systems for the offshore financial services sector.
The business was established by Nathan Wright, founder of one of the Channel Islands’ first and most successful Internet service providers, LocalDial. Nathan, along with the rest of the team has also worked extensively with software suppliers, trust companies and financial institutions.
Nathan realised how much time people in the offshore finance industry needed to spend searching the internet in order to stay right up to date with the latest news and regulatory announcements. The volume of information which they needed to search was immense, and the risks of missing something were considerable. The industry moves at a very fast pace, and if a finance professional isn't aware of the latest developments, that can have a legal impact, as well as an immediate effect on their clients and reputation.
Creative problem solving is an important element of the ethos at NW Consulting, and Nathan put his team to work to find a solution.
Offshore Announcements is the result - a service which automatically searches the required websites and updates its users on any developments in a quick and convenient fashion.
Offshore Announcements was initially launched in Jersey in 2009 and is now expanding throughout the world.
